YES! Today, October 24, 2008 our search for the new place for Russian Educational Center is over!!!
Maria and I signed a contract with Glendale United Methodist Church in Savage this morning. Our new address is:

The building is REALLY NICE! It feels very friendly, save, spacious and comfy. The church members are very kind. They gave us the key and offer their help in every aspect. Everybody seems understand our needs and purpose very well. I could tell that this people REALLY care and wanted to help. The deal is also very fair money wise. We will be able to accept all the students from the WAITING LIST this year!

The journey of finding a new home for our Center wasn't easy. It is even difficult to believe that we did pull this up. We have talked to SO many people and organizations for the last few months. Thank you SO MUCH to the parents and friends who provided us with names and numbers! Sorry if we didn't follow your leads sometimes but all your help is greatly appreciated!

Now is the sad part! I feel sorry for the families from the West and North side of Twin Cities. I checked most of the addresses on the Yahoo maps. It is going to be 10-15 min. longer drive for you. Some families from Plymouth, Crystal, Minnetonka, etc. won't be able to drive that far. We understand but still this makes all the teachers sad. We will miss your kids very much, their smiles and stories. So, parents, you'll have to promise me to bring them to our parties at least!

Teachers and families from South side! How lucky for you! Now you will have to drive only 15 min. instead of 30-40 min. I hope we will have more students from Eagan, Apple Valley, Burnsville, etc. this year.
