"ZATEYA" - SUMMER CAMP 2008

All the senses will be involved in learning through activities and demonstrations, showing children how to use new words and new skills.
Kids will enjoy Russian speech, reading and writing lessons, Russian music, role playing, Russian art and crafts.
We will have trips to a nearby park and playground, picnics, and outdoor sport and games (weather permitting).
You will defiantly notice raise of interest in further language study, and a positive learning experience with Russian language and culture.

NOTICE: You must pick up your child promptly after class. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we must charge you a babysitting fee of $5 per every 15 min. that you are late). This fee should be paid at the time of pickup

The day at the camp will be very busy. Kids will know exactly what to do and where to go every minute of the day. Each child constantly will be supervised by our experienced teachers and staff.

Here is the sample of a day schedule at the camp. Each teacher will decide what schedule is the best for her group of kids. We won't accept more than 10 children per class. Younger kids will have two teachers per a group.

	10:00 - 10:30		Russian history, culture, traditions
	10:30 - 11:00		Russian writing
	11:00 - 12:00		Russian literature, speech
	12:00 - 1:30		Outside sport, games, playground or cooking class
	1:30 - 2:00		Lunch
	2:00 - 3:30		Music, theater
	3:30 - 4:30		Art
	4:30 - 5:00		Playground or inside games
	5:00 - 6:00		Playground (by request only, extra $$)

Please pick up your children from the playground (weather permitting).

MEALS and SNACKS:

RECM will provide a morning and afternoon juice and snacks for all campers, but please provide a bag lunch for your child each day.

REGISTRATION and PAYMENT:

! Places are very limited. We can only accept 30 students this summer, please, register as soon as you can.
The registration fee is $20 per family (for new students, non-refundable).
A deposit of $50 is required with registration and is applied to the balance due.
We will refund your deposit, if you'll change your mind before June 6. The deposit is non-refundable after June 6th.

Thanks to generosity of our sponsors we are able to charge very low cost for our camp this year! Approximately it is only $5 per hour including breakfast, study and craft material and lessons!

Half day camp (15-hour session) - $110.00
Full day camp (40-hour session) - $200.00

Payment is non-refundable after the first day of camp.

PLEASE NOTE: Children will not be allowed to attend unless the tuition is paid no later than the first day of camp and The camp's permission slips and liability waivers are signed.

All funds received by RECM through tuition, as well as all tax deductible contributions are used exclusively for the purpose of developing our Center and its school. (TAX ID# 11-3667370)

Although our classes are designed to be active, no learning can occur in chaotic surroundings. Our teachers need to be respected. Please make sure that your child understands that misbehavior will not be tolerated.

Parents will be notified immediately if there is a problem. If the situation continues, the child will be asked to leave permanently.
There will be NO refund.
